This convening brings together the creative communities that grew from the founding of the UW Glass Lab at the close of its sixtieth anniversary. Students, educators, and glass professionals alike are invited to join us for two days of celebrating contemporary glass practice. GLASS CASTING 101 ARROWMONT SCHOOL OF ARTS AND CRAFTS, GATLINBURG, TN JUNE 19-25, 2022 I returned to Arrowmont to teach a week-long intensive workshop on glass casting and had a fantastic group of students! We covered basic moldmaking through some more intensive glass casting molds! Really wild to be able to make so much work in such a little time! ARTIST IN RESIDENCE: ARLINGTON LIBRARY ARLINGTON DOWNTOWN LIBRARY, ARLINGTON, TX MONTH OF JUNE, 2021 I was lucky to be selected as one of the Artists in Residence for the 'Art is for Everyone' program at the Arlington Downtown Library. The program is a really wonderful way of bringing free art programs to the community and I'm so happy I was able to participate and bring glass into a space that doesn't usually host glass art programming. VITRO MODA 12 SINACA STUDIOS, FORT WORTH, TX MARCH 21, 2020 My work will be auctioned during this event to benefit SiNaCa Studios, a non-profit glass studio and gallery located in Fort Worth, TX. |
