UPCOMING EVENTS:

FROM MODEL TO MOLD: KILN CAST GLASS
SNOW FARM - THE NEW ENGLAND CRAFT PROGRAM, WILLIAMSBURG, MA
JUNE 10-14, 2026
Come learn kiln casting with me! This will be the first time I teach a class at Snow Farm. I'm very excited to work with students in a short time frame to learn about glass casting. Students will leave the class with a thorough understanding of the process from start to finish, and a plethora of knowledge to take back to a home studio.

PAST EVENTS:

CASTING GLASS: POSITIVE TO NEGATIVE AND BACK
PENLAND SCHOOL OF CRAFTS, PENLAND, NC
JUNE 15-27, 2025
I was so excited to teach a glass casting class at Penland School of Crafts this summer! This two-week class covered basics of casting from ideas to molds to finished glass objects. I was joined by Liz Markum and Amy Stephens, both incredible artists who assisted during the class.

KILNIN' IT!
PITTSBURGH GLASS CENTER, PITTSBURGH, PA
JULY 1-5, 2024

It was so fantastic to return to the Pittsburgh Glass Center to teach an experimental glass fusing and casting course with one of my favorite colleagues, Ashley McFarland who also runs Reimagined Recycling! We had an incredible group of students and had a fantastic time experimenting with a variety of techniques.

EDUCATIONAL GATHERING, GLASS MADISON
UNIVERSITY OF MADISON, WISCONSIN
OCTOBER 6-7, 2023
I was honored to be asked to present a mould-making demonstration at this symposium hosted by artist Helen Lee. The Glass Madison Educational Gathering is a symposium of intercollegiate and community glass programs. This convening brings together the creative communities that grew from the founding of the UW Glass Lab at the close of its sixtieth anniversary. Students, educators, and glass professionals alike are invited to join us for two days of celebrating contemporary glass practice.

GLASS CASTING 101
ARROWMONT SCHOOL OF ARTS AND CRAFTS, GATLINBURG, TN
JUNE 19-25, 2022
I returned to Arrowmont to teach a week-long intensive workshop on glass casting and had a fantastic group of students! We covered basic moldmaking through some more intensive glass casting molds! Really wild to be able to make so much work in such a little time!

ARTIST IN RESIDENCE: ARLINGTON LIBRARY
ARLINGTON DOWNTOWN LIBRARY, ARLINGTON, TX
MONTH OF JUNE, 2021
I was lucky to be selected as one of the Artists in Residence for the 'Art is for Everyone' program at the Arlington Downtown Library. The program is a really wonderful way of bringing free art programs to the community and I'm so happy I was able to participate and bring glass into a space that doesn't usually host glass art programming.

VITRO MODA 12
SINACA STUDIOS, FORT WORTH, TX
MARCH 21, 2020
My work will be auctioned during this event to benefit SiNaCa Studios, a non-profit glass studio and gallery located in Fort Worth, TX.
